Here are some frequently asked questions to help you find and learn about Alni Body Care products. Looking for help on how to use your shower steamers or how to apply the lemongrass basil bug spray or more information on ingredients? Read the Frequently Asked Questions below.

Q: Why do you label Alni Body Care products as "vegan"?
A: Alni Body Care products are 100% vegan because we use only plant-based ingredients. For example, we use candelilla wax, a plant-based wax substitute for beeswax (we DO NOT use beeswax in any products). We also use only vegetable-based emulsifiers, as well as natural colorants. Alni Body Care products are 100% dye-free, fragrance oil-free, and sulfate-free (SLSA-free). The vegan moisturizer bars, for example, are made with avocado oil, coconut oil, mango butter, shea butter, candelilla wax, vegetable emulsifiers, and essential oils.

Q: What does it mean when you say your products are dye-free?
A: Alni Body Care products are 100% dye-free. We only use natural colorants, like matcha, butterfly pea flower, dragon fruit, etc. to color the products. For example, check out Alni Body Care dye-free, kid-safe bath bombs or dye-free, kid-safe aromatherapy shower steamers.

Q: What do you use for the scents in your products?
A: Alni Body Care only uses essential oils for aromas in our products. We DO NOT use any fragrance oils. We also do not share the brand of essential oils that we use, as it is a trade secret, however, we can share that they are organic, CO2-extracted, and kid-safe essential oils.

Q: How do you use the aromatherapy shower steamers?
A: Great question! Check out Alni Body Care's blog on How to Use your Shower Steamers. Each shower steamer order also includes a printed how-to-use instructions guide. Here is how to use your shower steamer in a few short steps: Unwrap the shower steamer; Place on your shower floor where the water sprays down; Face towards this direction and enjoy!

Q: How long do the aromatherapy shower steamers last?
A: Alni Body Care puck-shape shower steamers (classic shape) last UP TO 3 shorter showers* when utilized in the manner described in the how-to-use-your-shower-steamer instructions guide or how-to-use-your-shower-steamer blog post. The star, moon, heart, and other limited edition shapes may not last as long as the pucks. Move the remnants of the shower steamer to a shelf or dry soap dish/tray in between showers for optimal preservation. *Due to different shower types, water pressures, # and placement of shower heads, we cannot guarantee the exact # of showers, but if you follow the how to use shower steamers instructions guide, you should be able to utilize for multiple showers.

Q: What types of bugs does the lemongrass basil natural bug spray work on?
A: Alni Body Care Lemongrass Basil natural bug spray wards off mosquitoes, biting flies, "no-see-ums" and even ticks. Made with lemongrass and basil essential oils, with a hint of lavender essential oil, infused into a blend of witch hazel and distilled water. You can apply the bug spray directly to skin or to clothing; it will not stain. Kid and dog-safe (apply along your dog's back, away from face). Golfers, please apply to your body while standing on the cart path, however, Alni Body Care bug spray is TURF-SAFE, it will not burn the turf. Choose 2oz or 4oz spray bottle.

Q: Do you offer wholesale?
A: Yes! Alni Body Care is pleased to offer wholesale aka reduced pricing for retailers looking to purchase products in bulk. There is a low minimum order quantity (MOQ) at 24 units. Q: Do your products contain any coconut oil? What about Avocado oil?
A: YES! Most all of Alni Body Care products contain coconut or avocado oil. The bath bombs contain a blend of avocado and coconut oils. Products are clearly labeled and marked with all ingredients. Please read the ingredients on all products before using.

Q: Do your products contain linalool (lavender)?
A: YES! Most all of Alni Body Care products contain lavender or traces of linalool based on the types of essential oils we use. For example, the lemongrass basil natural bug spray contains a hint of lavender, but also the basil essential oil is technically basil linalool essential oil. All products are individually labeled with ingredients and ingredients are also posted on the product pages on the website. Please read all ingredients labels prior to using products.

Q: I am looking for a gift for an acquaintance. What is the best gift recommendation?
A: Alni Body Care handmade aromatherapy shower steamers make the perfect gifts for anyone and any occasion! Q: My kid loves bath bombs! Do you have any kid-safe bath bombs?
A: YES! In fact, Alni Body Care only makes kid-safe bath bombs! Alni Body Care bath bombs are dye-free, kid-safe, sulfate-free, and made with essential oils! Made with a blend of avocado and coconut oils for silky soft skin. Choose Lavender Eucalyptus colored with dragon fruit OR Sandalwood colored with butterfly pea flower. More blends coming soon!

Q: I use your CBD products like CBD lubricant, but no longer see any of these products on the website. Please advise.

Q: Which product(s) do you recommend for dry skin?
A: Alni Body Care makes a wonderful vegan moisturizer in a solid form, which is super easy to travel with. We recommend Alni Body Care Lavender Eucalyptus vegan moisturizer bar (lotion bar). Comes in a whimsical sunflower shaped mold in a silver tin with peek-a-boo window, which is nice for retail display or for gift-giving. Made with avocado oil, coconut oil, mango butter, shea butter, candelilla wax, vegetable-based emulsifier, and lavender and eucalyptus essential oils.

Q: I love your lemongrass basil natural bug spray, do you offer a refill program?
A: YES! I do offer a refill program at select farmers markets only from May until about September. Bring your empty Alni Body Care Lemongrass Basil natural bug spray bottles and receive $2 off your purchase of a refill. Alni Body Care ONLY offers this refill program at the following farmers markets: Rehoboth Beach Farmers Markets (Tuesdays 10am-2pm starting in May); Ocean Pines Farmers Market (Saturdays 8am-1pm summer hours refills start in May); Nassau Valley Vineyards Farmers Market (Sundays 12pm-3pm starting in May).
